SSM is an Australian audio/visual production company established in 2009, who specialise in producing podcasts, voice-over work, radio shows, audio and short-format video content. Well known for their work with Australian Defence Magazine and Ragtrader, SSM have expanded beyond their initial scope into the culinary, music, news and sports fields.

Brand identity, creative direction, refresh including a new logo, revitalising existing marketing assets, branded merchandise and gear.
the challenge
The challenge was to develop a logo and branding which reflected both of the Director's dynamic personalities, the brand name and embraced the diversity of niches they serve.

the logo
The flowing S-curves represent Southern Skies form two distinct yet complementary arcs that reflect the unique personalities of the Directors.
Rendered in contrasting colours, they echo and support one another, just as the Directors do.
Rising above the sphere, the curves create a dynamic slipstream, which is not only a nod to strong their aviation roots, which symbolises movement, energy and their global reach.
